Work placement at Department of Musicology

Department of Musicology (IMV) offers work placement for refugees in general administrative support

Location of work placement

Tasks to be performed

  • Administrative support for the study advisors, including organizing semester start events and other student events, booking rooms, purchases, archiving.
  • Support with infrastructure, including help with technical equipment for teaching, maintenance of instruments and rehearsal rooms.
  • Support ongoing relocation of meeting rooms, including planning the process, contact with the University’s Facility Service and IT department, moving furniture and more.
  • The tasks can be adjusted according to competence and interest, and other tasks can be added.

Required qualifications and skills (including language skills)

  • Minimum BA degree or equivalent 
  • Interest in administration of education and research
  • Good oral and written communications skills in English
  • Personal suitability

Time period

  • Flexible between 3 to 6 months
  • Available from February 2024
