Description of the web app

One of the roles that Oslo SPeLL has is to assist the Department of Special Needs Education in app development and data collection (hardware and software). In one of our projects, we have developed a web app for assessing children’s abilities in language, literacy and numeracy. The app runs on the web or an iPad.

Tasks to be performed

  • Improving the app by adding functionality

  • Implementing user management

  • If possible, improving back-end services

Technologies used

  • Vue2
  • HTML, javascript, CSS
  • Cordova.js

Required qualifications and skills (including language skills)

  • Experience with developing for the web using a modern javascript framework. 2 years’ experience preferred

  • Optional: Back-end experience. We use express.js for back-end but may change if you have expertise in another programming language.

  • Interpersonal skills: responsible, good collaboration and communication skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Time period: 

  • Flexible; between 3 to 6 months. Possibility of extension.

Candidates are required to be part of the introduction programme in Norway.
