Changes for bus passengers, pedestrians and cyclists to Domus Medica

The construction of the New National Hospital Rikshospitalet affects new areas this autumn. It is no longer possible to get off the bus at the roundabout near Domus Medica, and cyclists and pedestrians can only use one side of Klaus Torg?rdsvei.

The bus stops for bus 40 in Klaus Torg?rdsvei and in Sognsvannsveien have been combined into one common bus stop 100 meters further away, close to the new main entrance to Rikshospitalet (see circle in the picture).

The walking and cycling track along Klaus Torg?rdsvei between Sogn Arena and Domus Medica will also be changed.

The contractor informs that they will commence blasting, digging and alterations at the intersection Klaus Torg?rdsvei - Gaustadalléen. Pedestrians and cyclists will therefore have to follow the track on the right side of the road from Domus Medica in the direction of Sogn Arena. (Blue/yellow dotted line on the picture below)

During blasting, all traffic will be stopped for approx. 1 minute. This will happen outside of rush hour, and there will be people on site directing traffic.
