The life science building: will cut the first sod in one year

The day after the Oslo Life Science conference was completed, it was yet another big day for life sciences at UiO. UiO and Statsbygg had a start-up meeting for the detailed planning of the life science building – Norway's largest university building, which could become a foundation stone in the "New Norway". The first sod will be cut in the first quarter of 2019, and the building will be put into use in the second half of 2024. During the spring of 2018, the project organization will be co-located in Gaustadalléen.
