The language settings can be found under My preferences in the menu under your name in Sympa.
The change only takes effect in the web interface at https://sympa.uio.no. Automatic e-mails that are sent out, such as password reminders (applies only if you do not use a UiO-linked member address), subscription reminders, welcome messages etc., will still only come in English.
