The foundation module
This foundation module provides an introduction to the basics in teaching and learning at university. The 120-hour module is the mandatory first part of the program. Application dealine is April 15th, 2024.
Pedagogical development project
After completing the Foundation module, you are required to conduct a 50-hour Pedagogical development project. You will work on a project that you design in collaboration with others at your unit, UiO, or beyond. Application deadline is May 25th, 2024.
Elective Modules
Sustainability Education in my Teaching. Part 1 - Getting started
This module shows a way for you to get started implementing sustainability into your teaching. This 15-hour module is collaborative in its nature. Application deadline is April 15th, 2024.
Sustainability Education in my Teaching. Part 2 - Getting creative
This 15-hour module, provides insights and necessary tools for you to create a video essay/digital story about a connection between your interest in sustainability education and your own teaching. Application deadline is April 15th, 2024.
Research Supervision
This 30hour module aims to provide you with insight into varied cultures of research supervision, and inspire you to develop your supervision skills further. Application deadline is April 15th, 2024.
Modules with no admission requirements
Innovation and your teaching
We welcome all scientific staff to this module to explore how you might innovate – in the broad sense – in your teaching, whether you have been teaching for decades, or you have never taught. Application deadline is May 31st, 2024.
