If the students agree (to be discussed in the first lecture), I will change the schedule somewhat. We need two hours with lectures and an optional hour with lab-presentation/additional lecturing etc. I would prefer to have the two lecture hours first (09:15-11:00) and the optional hour afterwards. Today the schedule on the website is opposite.

The first day of lecture (23 of August) we start at 10:15.

I will appreciate if all students that intend to follow the course show up on the first lecture (at 10:15). If your are not able to come, please drop me an e-mail (joar@ifi.uio.no) before 9 the same day.

The course is relevant for everyone working with electronics on all levels. This course is intended both for physic students focusing on electronic design on PCB level, and for informatic students focusing on CMOS design. Transistor schematics will be given and there will not be any need to develop these.
