CONT4601 – Master Thesis Seminar

Course content

The course prepares the students for writing the Master Thesis in Intercontextual Theology, and is given as a spring seminar for first year master students.

Learning outcome

The seminar is meant to help the students to formulate a theme for the master thesis, and to give a preliminary description of the method and the content of the thesis.

Admission

Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.

Prerequisites

Formal prerequisite knowledge

Designed for students registered on the master program for intercontextual theology.

Teaching

There will be some instruction in methodology, in addition to project presentations by students, and response from the teacher.

Examination

The project description for the master thesis is to be accepted by the teacher and the program coordinator.

The evaluations are graded pass or fail.
